Rebar Fabrication

In 2008, an enclosed rebar workshop for cutting and bending rebar fabrications was put into operation.
The production workshop is equipped with specialized machines from PEDAX, which provide unlimited possibilities for the precise fabrication of rebar in various sizes and lengths.
The workshop is served by two remotely operated overhead cranes with a lifting capacity of 3.2 and 5 tonnes, which further optimizes the production process and facilitates loading and unloading operations.
The rebar workshop has a capacity of 600 tonnes of fabrications per month, with the possibility of storage in an enclosed facility.
The rebar fabrications under the K Metal brand are intended for ordinary (non-prestressed) reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures and products with dimensions corresponding to the client’s technical specification/drawing, and are produced from:
• smooth steel, straightened from coils with diameters from 6 mm to 12 mm, class B 235;
• ribbed steel, straightened from coils with diameters from 8 mm to 16 mm, class B 500 C;
• ribbed steel in bars with diameters from 8 mm to 32 mm, class B 500 B and B 500 C.

The characteristics of the products have been assessed in accordance with BDS EN 10080, BDS 9252, BDS 4758, BDS EN 13670/NA, BDS EN 1992-1-1/A1 and comply with the national requirements for construction products for the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures depending on the intended use.

The rebar workshop operates with an implemented and functioning Factory Production Control System with Certificate of Conformity No. 05 – NURVSPSPRB – 065 – BG.
